Need a Boost?
One of the hardest parts about returning from vacation is the catch-up that has to take place in order to get back into our daily grind. The vacation is absolutely worth it, but it’s not easy coming back! Since most of us can’t be on perma-vacation, we have to find a way to make it through the first few days back at work in a way that doesn’t completely exhaust us. The good news is, as always,

Sit back, relax, and eat
August is upon us and all I can think about is the beach, the sun, and getting away to have a little fun. I, of course, have been planning my take-along snacks for the past couple of weeks and I think I’ve got it all together, though it may require an extra suitcase!

What makes wine organic - and who decides?
My friend once admitted to me, with a sheepish look on her face, that when she’s selecting a wine to buy, the main deciding factor is the label: how pretty or elegant it is, what kind of font, etc. Although many people wouldn’t admit it, I suspect she’s hardly alone.

Summer Heat – What to Eat!
Have you been loving the local fruits and vegetables lately? It’s been such a nice summer with lots of warm weather and local fruits and veggies a plenty! And while we all inherently understand that eating in synch with the seasons helps our local farmers and the environment, have you tied the connection to how eating seasonally can help us function at our best too?
