Gardner Museum

Every third Thursday of the month, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum holds a special event to showcase the expansive holdings of this Boston gem. “Gardner After Hours”, appropriately dubbed, takes place at 5pm to 10pm and features live music, cocktails, guided tours and occasionally a movie or speech…

The house/museum features rooms upon rooms of works by Degas, Michelangelo, and Manet to mention a few. Ornate curtains, statues, wood working, and rare furniture are all part of the beauty that make up the museum. The roped off courtyard is of equal awe. Jade trees, lady slipper orchids, and peace lilies decorate the 15th century Venetian style palace.
