Fornax Bread Company

The grilled chicken sandwich at Fornax is my favorite sandwich in Boston. I could eat it everyday! My wife, kids and friends tell me their other sandwiches, soups, salads and pizzas are great too, but unfortunately my love affair with the chicken sandwich has made me forget the menu...someday I'll expand my horizons but for now I'm all chicken all the time.

Fornax is also the kind of place you can feel great about patronizing. It's run by a great family, employs a friendly crew...and they're easy green. Meaning you can tell they genuinely care about their ingredients, waste stream, operations and overall impact on the environment and community.

They make green look like it's biz-as-usual...which it should be. Right? I really dig their low-impact vibe - from their eclectic mix-n-match furniture, to the recycling under the coffee Fornax gets it right.

And did I mention they make some of the best breads in Boston too? And a mean super-sized homemade oreo cookie...yep!
