Deep Ellum has such a wide range of beers available that it's hard to decide which one you'd like to sample - luckily, the vegan burger goes great with pretty much anything. Now that the back porch is open for summer, this is the perfect place to grab a table and spend an evening trying out some great new drinks. There's always an awesome soundtrack, the staff is friendly and the fries are dee-licious.

Deep Ellum is one of my favorite neighborhood hangouts. The menu is very heavy on the locally sourced-inspired eats and there are quite a few options for vegans and vegetarians.
They're also very green conscious - the lights are kept low, they've got low flow toilets and they recycle. Oh - and did I mention there's a patio for enjoying the great outdoors with a craft beer and a good seitan burger?
Deep Ellum Bar is a great addition to Allston Village. The vibe of the place is totally casual but it has this really classic dark wood/tiled floor atmosphere that makes it a classy joint. Good place to go on a date or drink martinis with your friends. The stars of this bar are the craft beers. I don't know all that much about craft beers but the servers and bar tenders are very friendly and knowledgeable.
The food is satisfying and delicious. Their website says this, "FOR THE BENEFIT OF OUR PATRONS AND OUR COMMUNITY, WE ATTEMPT TO UTILIZE NATURALLY RAISED LIVESTOCK AND ORGANICALLY GROWN PRODUCE."
They feed vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters alike. The music is always cool and the big screen TVs mean you don't need to eat at the Sports Depot to catch the game. It's a cool place.
